  <p>The primary focus of this module is to introduce you to how your Client’s management of their environmental and social impacts can present a risk to your Bank. We also introduce you to a well established methodology that allows your Bank to both manage this risk but also play a role in encouraging better business practice by your Clients.</p>

  <p> Specifically you will:</p>

   <ol style="margin-left:20px">

    <li>Gain an understanding of what E&amp;S impacts and risks are associated with client activities.</li>

     <li>Understand how these can translate into risks to your Bank.</li>

    <li>Learn how to address such risks in your credit review process with the integration of an environmental and social management system (ESMS).</li>

    <li>Be introduced to a financial valuation methodology which quantifies the value generated from mitigating E&amp;S risks.</li>

    <li>Appreciate how your Bank can facilitate better business practice across your portfolio and contribute to more sustainable economic growth.</li>

  </ol>

<p>The Module comprises 3 sessions. They are:<p>

<p>Session 1: Introduction to Clients E&amp;S risks/impacts and how they translate into risks to the Bank.</p>

  <p>Session 2: Introduction to an environmental and social management system (ESMS) for Banks.</p>

<p> Session 3: Reflecting the value of E&amp;S risk mitigation initiatives in financial models.</p>
